Thank you Jay for all you say!

I was immediately enthralled with Jay’s story about a young man’s search for himself. My thoughts went to my own daughters and how they could benefit greatly from his message to define their direction and destiny.

As I came to the end of the book, I realized the message was as much for me as it was for them. Taking time one day over the holidays when my two daughters had a rare moment of downtime, I asked them if they would like to share some time with dear old dad. Fortunately, they consented.

I started by telling them briefly about “The Greatness Zone” and quickly explained I would not give away the story, since that was for them to read, though I did want to share the message. As we began going step by step through the exercise, we were all committed to giving it our best shot.

In the “What are we good at circle,” we added and contested some of the items each of us had written down. While at one time a rather spirited debate began with my daughters regarding perceptions, I was fortunately able to quickly rein them back into the exercise.

As we came to a close, one of my daughters confirmed and defined her direction, while the other got a much better grasp of what she needs to do to get into her own “Greatness Zone.” As for me, I came up with several ideas which help me to redefine what I do and how I do it.

I strongly suggest “The Greatness Zone,” for all young adults and older adults who want to feel young again by connecting with their own talents and desires.

Thank you Jay for all you say!
